Billy Cranston (born 1 April 1994), human, is the Modern History Teacher Assistant and the Blue Ranger of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. He is considered the brains of the group, having invented the communicators for all the teams. Billy is good friends with Tommy, Thomas, and Kimberly, who are on the school staff with him as well as Dante, his fellow teammate and the Red Ranger.

Billy is a middle built young man with short brown hair and light sea green eyes. He wears professor-style clothes due to his job, with glasses once in a while, but not working, he wears blue clothes, often wearing clothes that show his growing strenght, akin to him being the Blue Ranger.
Personality[]
As the brains of the group, Billy is very smart and is always thinking of new inventions, having created the communicators for the Rangers as well as the Riders and Gokaigers, including Ankh and Kengo. He is thoughtful, brave, kind. He has a lot of patient in order to deal with Dante's personality. Billy is also very curious about the unknown.

Like Tommy, Thomas, Kimberly, the Riders, and Gokaigers, Billy had been chosen by Zordon to become one of his warriors. Being a inventor, Billy invented the communicators for the teams to communicate with each other as well as Zordon, Alpha 5, and Navi.

Trivia[]
- Billy, Kimberly, and Tommy are the only members of the Power Rangers that were actual members and characters from their origin. Thomas, Tommy's brother, is based on Tom, his clone, James is from the Harry Potter series, Nala is from the Lion King series, and Dante is from the Devil May Cry series.
- It is unknown how Billy became the teacher assistant of the Modern History teacher, considering his love for computers and technology.
- It seemed like Billy had spare communicators which Tommy gave to Kira and her team, Dino Megaforce, to use for teleportation.
