Al Mualim (born 13 November 1952), human, is the current principal of Nintendo High School, as well as the leader of the Crystal Order ever since forming it about twenty-five years prior to the events of High School Days.

History (Pre High School Days)[]

Al Mualim, coming from a wealthy family, was one of the top students at Nintendo High School during its early years. This attracted the attention of Peppy's father, founder of the school, and led to him mentoring the young Al Mualim. After graduating from Nintendo High School, Al Mualim would go on to attend Tokyo University.

While attending Tokyo University, Al Mualim met and befriended a girl named Dolres Umbridge, a witch from England continuing her education in Tokyo. Al Mualim would then become the principal of the very school he attended, overseeing a few battles the students and staff had with the S-Types. However, during one of those battles, Al Mualim spared the life of an S-Type, who convinced him that the world he lived in was too corrupt, and to fix it, he would have to ally with the S-Types. And from that moment, Al Mualim secretly formed the Crystal Order, which continues to grow year after year, while maintaining his position as principal of Nintendo High School. A year later, he would adopt an orphan named Harold Saxon as well as convince Haytham Kenway to joining the Crystal Order.

About a year prior to the events of High School Days, Al Mualim (along with Discord, Charles Lee, and Haytham Kenway) "freed" Mewtwo from a JIA facility in Antarctica, and convinced the Pokemon to join the Crystal Order.
